Badminton
Badminton is arguably Indonesia’s most popular sport and our expert badminton instructor, Kadek, is an enthusiastic athlete who enjoys sharing his passion with players of all levels. Running, lunging, diving and ball-hitting is not only a great cardio workout, but it strengthens muscles and helps reduce stress and anxiety. The fast-paced nature of badminton also increases speed and improves reflexes. Badminton and other sports are played in our own large bamboo pavilion located near the front entrance to the property.
Pilates
Pilates is a highly functional, safe and effective method that trains muscles by focusing on recruiting them in specific sequences to re-train movement patterns. Pilates is great for toning muscles correcting postural and spinal alignment, increasing flexibility and mental awareness and is a fantastic cardio workout. Our pilates instructors come to Rumah Hujan from Movement Matters Bali, which was nominated for Fitness Best Asia Powerhouse Award / Pilates Studio of the Year 2017. As a pioneer in Pilates in Bali, they set a high standard in offering high-quality service and experienced, knowledgeable and compassionate instructors.
Personal Training
Roberto Saboya, also known as Beto, introduced Bali to Brazilian Circuit Training in 2010, which is based on the traditional Brazilian School of Fitness, where for 15 years he studied with the best trainers around the country. He also specialises in body-weight core strength exercises. His group classes and personal training program have drawn the attention of many athletes and fitness enthusiasts based on the Island. Roberto, who is from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, is a true “soul surfer” who has traveled the world to enjoy time with nature and work on his overall fitness.
